Democratic scepticism and contested media in the post-truth era

The media are indispensable in the creation of consensuses but they impose limitations to the propagation of political facts. The reconfiguration of public affairs, when transposed to sociodigital networks, goes through five stages: simplification, standardization, segmentation, propagation and trivialization. In that context has spread the post-truth, which reaches very relevant consequences and that is nourished in the discredit of the politics.
