Abstract

Network access devices activated by the voice of the user which manage their interactivity through virtual assistants acting as an interface, have opened a niche within the domestic market with important consequences for the future development of Internet services. First of all, the adoption of the first devices of Internet access without screen and the progressive introduction of virtual managers destined to manage the network of connected household appliances, in essence the germ of the Internet of things of home. So far this trend takes the form of smart speakers, which underlines the leading role of these virtual assistants based on Artificial Intelligence algorithms resulting from a long and thoughtful strategy of companies, not only in the technology sector, which seek to reduce friction to the maximum and generate greater access to their platforms.
