Abstract

This article analyzes the impact of platformization in Brazil, specifically through the series "The Others" on Globoplay. It explores how streaming platforms are reshaping the production and consumption of audiovisual content in Brazil, and examines the adaptation of traditional television networks to digital platforms. The study aims to understand the influences of platformization on serialized narratives and the construction of "The Others" by using content analysis of related podcasts. It contributes to the understanding of the complex interactions between platforms, narratives, and the Brazilian audience.
